I have come to the realization that I might need to revamp and explain my rating system. Instead of being five stars, it will be out of ten stars. But, I will not read a book below a five. So, that means that there will still be five visible stars, but they will stand for stars 6-10 instead of 1-5. So if it looks as if a book gets a low score, it doesn’t mean that it is a terrible book. It only means that the rating was not top notch.
My rating is based on the quality of writing, the quality of the story, and the flow of the story. Only those three are measured. It does not take into consideration if I liked the story or not. I try to be unbiased.
As I said, I do not read books that I think are below five stars. If a book does not appear, it means I either have not read it yet or do not want to read it. I have started reading several books, but could not finish them because of the poor quality of writing. Those would not appear on this blog.
